Abstract
The neurologists,neurosurgeons,spinal and orthopaedics and rehab consultants are all involved in treatment of spinal cord diseases .
Because the spinal cord is a large part of the nervous system and similar to the brain,it can be affected by almost all the diseases that affect the brain.
The spinal cord,and because of its length ( about 45 cm )and surrounded by the vertebral column, can be involved directly or indirectly by vertebral column disorders and diseases of the spine especially neoplastic and infective disorders.
This presentation will discuss the symptoms, signs , diagnosis and management of both the medical and the surgical disorders of the spinal cord supported by real life clinical cases and neuro-mages
