Title: Radicular cysts and Spontaneus Intracranial Hipotension (SIH)

Abstract

Radicular cysts are a frequent finding in imaging studies and their role in the Spontaneous Intracranial Hypotension (SIH) Syndrome is being recognized recently with the development of highly developed neuroradiological techniques such as MRI myelography. We have four consecutive patients in two different institutions in Santiago Chile with different treatments, one was operated, another was treated with epidural blood patch and two with conservative management. The aim of this presentation is to review the SIH and their relation with the radicular cysts, when they are found, and how to manage them to treat this syndrome in a rational way.
